The Scope of Works consists in the drafting of the Preliminary Design Project and the Detailed Design Project for the reconstruction of the Bechem - Akumadan road to convert it into a paved road, including a new by-pass close to Akudaman.
The total length of the road is 40.4 km.
General features of the proposed road are as follows:
- Reference speed: 80 km/h or 60 km/h.
- Single carriageway 1 x 2 lanes. Double carriageway 2x2 lanes at the crossing of Techimantia;
- Pedestrian walkways along urbanized sections;
- Installation of horizontal and vertical signage;
- 77 hydraulic structures, including box culverts and pipes.
