The Joint Venture (JV) formed by INJELAN and FHECOR carried out the Technical Assistance work for BIDEGI in the management of the structures of the road network entrusted to BIDEGI S.A.

The repairs aim to correct the condition of the supports on Abutment 2 (North) of the viaduct.

The main actions defined are:
-Improving access to Abutment 2.
-Replacement of neoprene bearing pads.
-Inspection and rehabilitation of the uplift prevention system.
-Concrete pouring for a base slab and the rear part of the diaphragm on Abutment 2.
-Interior painting of a section of the deck’s box girder.
-Replacement of the roadway joint on Abutment 2.
-Construction of an inspection and maintenance walkway for Abutment 2 of the viaduct.

During the replacement of the bearing pads and the inspection of the uplift prevention system, temporary supports and a provisional uplift prevention system will be installed to ensure the viaduct remains stable while the existing elements are out of service.
