FHECOR, in JV with NOEGA Ingenieros, has prepared the draft project consisting of the complete substitution of the deck and its widening together with the support to maintain the traffic operation level during the works of construction, repair, reinforcement of the bridge substructure and the widening of the road traffic accesses. Furthermore, the project also includes the improvement of the accessibility of the nearby accesses according to current standards.

The old bridge was built in 1940 with an entire length of 196 meters. It consists of 14 isostatic spans supported by 13 piers and two end abutments. The roadway has a total width of 9 meters that will be increased to 12 meters with this new project.
