This exceptional building was designed by the Madrid-based SelgasCano architectural office, authors too of several singular buildings, amongst them, the 2015 Serpentine Gallery Pavilion in London. FHECOR participated in this building developing the project and the construction details of the textile envelope manufactured by Lastra & Zorrilla.

The textile skin is composed by a single ETFE sheet supported on a grid of circular tubes. An additional system of struts and cables has been provided to stand for horizontal wind forces, thus allowing larger spans between the supports of the steel structure on the concrete main structure.

The close collaboration between the architects, the textile manufacturer and Fhecor made possible to develop an innovative solution that responds to the architectural need of designing a light and elastic skin that creates a smooth transition between the exterior and the interior.
