Emergency works for the repair of localized damage on the El Caballar ravine viaduct, including the inspection, monitoring, and repair of welds, as well as the execution of metallic structural reinforcements and the repainting of the structure. The project also includes the installation of seismic stoppers on abutments and piers, the replacement of bearings and expansion joints, together with the repair of drains, milling and resurfacing of the wearing course, and the construction of an inspection and maintenance walkway. In addition, the instrumentation of the end spans on both carriageways is foreseen, along with the implementation of preventive fire protection measures.
