The work involved the reorganization and transformation of the Sants Station passenger building, as well as the plaza and the station"s surroundings (Joint Venture: RCR Arquitectes – Sener Ingeniería – Fhecor Ingenieros Consultores).
The main actions of the project include:
- Expanding the station on the Països Catalans side, allowing for the design of a new AV boarding hall on the Montaña-Països side (the expansion includes both ground-level and vertical growth).
- Creating a new access point for Cercanías (commuter rail) on the Mar-Països side.
The project was developed using BIM Methodology, with a BIM model at LOD 300.
