Computer Handbook of Steel and Composite Structures
Gratuito. Descarga libre.
The Computer Handbook of Steel and Composite Structures is a freely available tool for the analysis, calculation, and design of steel and composite structures. Developed by FHECOR Ingenieros Consultores with funding from the Association for the Technical Promotion of Steel (APTA) and ArcelorMittal, it is designed as:
. a project tool for use in design offices to facilitate the preliminary sizing of structures or to verify existing projects and designs, without competing with commercial software. In this regard, it's worth highlighting the powerful feature of automatically generating results in Word format for documentation.
. A teaching tool for steel structures, given the level of detail it provides (deformation diagrams, stress distributions, effective widths, section classification, etc.) and for developing validation examples.
This Handbook has an international scope and, therefore, includes Spanish, English, and French as working languages. Additionally, it supports translation into any other language through the user-defined language option. Another testament to its international ambition is the inclusion not only of Spanish regulations but also Eurocodes, with the ability to adjust calculation parameters according to each country’s national standards.
