The North Tarrant Express/I-35W project spans 10 miles (16 km) in Fort Worth (Texas) from north I-30 to US81/287. It is currently under construction by North Tarrant Infrastructure LLC, a joint venture between Ferrovial Agroman US Corp and Webber LLC, as part of NTE Mobility Partners, a consortium of companies including Cintra US. FHECOR Ingenieros Consultores have been responsible for the design of the civil work and 23 bridges included in the segment 3C and the Interchange between the I-35W and the I-820. These segments bridges include several direct connectors, underpasses, and overpasses, designed following the TxDOT Standards. We are glad we helped to NTI reached yet another significant milestone two weeks ago by attaining Substantial Completion for the 3C Connectors. This success signals the 3rd Substantial Completion accomplished on time in just two years, something not easy to achieve. This project has consolidated the American branch of FHECOR in Texas after the experience in designing the segments I-1 and I-2 of the SH99 Grand Parkway in Houston, which is currently under construction by the same companies.
