Fhecor is in charge of the temporary works of the monumental New Champlain Bridge in Montreal (Canada): a steel-concrete composite cable-stayed bridge, whose main span reaches 240 m. Some of the shoring towers we have designed are shown in this recent picture. Our contribution also includes the design of the “delta-frames” (steel structure that provides temporary support to the superstructure until the first cable stay at a distance of 50 m from the pylon is reached), as well as the site supervision and the study of the bridge construction process.
