The Government Council of Tenerife has awarded the contract for the control and supervision, during execution, of multiple works managed by the Technical Services of Roads and Landscape, in which is included the Padre Anchieta footbridge in the junction with the TF-5 highway in la Laguna, Tenerife.
In 2018, the FHECOR’s proposal won in the ideas contest. After that, the Construction Project was worked up back in 2019. Now, we have been awarded the contract together with TRAZAS INGENIERIA, S.L for the control and supervision during execution of the already mentioned footbridge for an estimated time period of 20 months.
The footbridge consists of an elevated circular ring that manages to interconnect efficiently the different urban areas with the University and the transport hub. The access to the elevated area consists of multiple ramps that fulfill the most updated accessibility standards. At the same time, the circular design fits in the landscape together with the local urban environment.
