Firstly, the approach viaducts are nearly completed. They are built in 3 stages: in the first one, with MSS, the “U” section; in the second one, the top slab and in the third one, the cantilevers cast by a form traveller. Last week, the first stage of the last span in the approach viaducts, P11-P12, in the South was finished. The North approach viaduct is very close to have the three stages completed.
Secondly, last Tuesday the two sections of deck linking the North Approach Viaduct to the north pylon cable-stayed deck were joined together. This is the first of the four connections of this kind that will be built.
