The BIM model constructed for the refurbishment project of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, in Madrid, was awarded two prizes in the prestigious Tekla BIM Awards 2021: winner in audience voting and winner in the category “Sport and recreation” in Spain and Latin America. The development of this collaborative model was leaded by FCC Construcción, with the participation of Horta Coslada, INBERSA ESTRUCTURAS METALICAS S.L. and FHECOR Ingenieros Consultores

The Tekla BIM Awards 2021 are annually held by Construsoft, the authorized provider of Tekla Structures, recognizing the companies and project teams with the best BIM projects, whereby Tekla Structures fulfilled an important role. After obtaining the regional award, the Santiago Bernabéu project will compete in the global contest in the next months.
