The reparation works for the Fernando Reig Bridge at Alcoy keep moving forward as part of the Emergency Operation by the Direction of State Roads of the Valencian Community from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport under the direction of Mr. Ismael Ferrer. After the recent installation and stressing of all the new cables, the next completed activity includes the reparation and protection of the concrete pylon by applying an anti-carbonatation coating. The contractor for the pylon reparation is FCC.
FHECOR’s role includes the work supervision since the beginning of the rehabilitation activities and the design of the strengthening intervention that has included the substitution of the damaged cables.
