FHECOR has been in charge for the last months of the structural analysis and diagnostic works of the out-of-service Sant Adriá Thermal Power Plant in Barcelona. The studied structures consist of three 200-meter tall chimneys as well as the old turbine generator room, which has a surface of more than 22.000 square meters.
An innovative system has been developed, in collaboration with the company HEMAV, for the works carried out. This system is based on the use of drones for the inspection of the interior of the buildings of the power plant. This system has permitted a high level of quality and security as well as an efficient performance during the realization of the works.
